M12 impacts are good.

The drills are not ready out of the box(chuck and slipping bits).

I had a dance last year with both the regular and the fuel M12 drill/driver. Twist to the locking click, and the slipping behavior repeated itself more than enough to times to cause dissatisfaction.

First time was with the regular M12 drilling gutter aluminum with a 1/2 inch bit.

I just use the regular beater for my counter-top mixer, and a hand wisk with a slim, wound-wire handle, though I prefer to use them in my drill press when I can just turn it on and leave it going a minute.

They might have updated the part, because it was poor for whatever year they made the ones I bought.

The chuck is cannot be tightened further once the click happens.

Even the old crappy cheap blue Harbor Freight didn't have that click gimmicky. Just twist as hard as you can and that gripped better.

this one has just 1/4" hex so is fine. It even locks the bit, not just magnetic. So far happy after 3 days using it extensively. Would prefer to have hammerfree first power setting, but it starts slow so you get used to it.
