Made my running goal today!

My goal was for the end of March to get to my former shape - from two years ago - I did it 7 days early.

13:57!

It feels great. Now - I think I should set myself a goal to see if I can do it once per month to make sure I keep up the running condition. It's nice to be 26 and in the best shape I've in in my life.

I was able to make 13:37 two years ago.. I don't like running that much, so maybe it's time for something new - maybe I'll set a 265lb benchpress goal for April :)

thanks! hehe - the sub-7 isn't the problem - it's the second sub-7 - that's the killer.. so glad I don't even want to go for a third.

wow 2 miles in 14 minutes is pretty good

i can do one mile in 7 minutes easy but when i try for that second mile, everything starts hurting so much more.

Thats great work!!! Now the real test if you can do 2 miles in 12:00!!! I've had to do this several times for Soccer training...Gluck with keeping it up

12 minutes? Not even going to try - it's already hard enough on my knees and calves - I'm not a small guy - ~205 lbs. and I think my size works against me. I would only do that if I was truly hardcore about making that kind of goal - it might result in more harm than good.

I'm not trying to be a top athlete - I just like being healthy and in good shape :)

reminds me i gotta get back to running and get my physical fit test done for the army rotc. sigh likely pushed it off too late now. what a dumba$$ i am. :(
