After 2 short days on the road, I'm in a hotel in Albuquerque, NM. Today I head north on I-25 for Denver! WooHoo!!!

I have to say this road trip is the best thing that I've done in a while! No drama, just a nice relaxing trip through 4 states over 3 days. And my old VW Bus is doing great!

UPDATE 2/14/05

I made it! Some slight drama but nothing horrible. Raton pass was a biatch. 35 was as fast as I could get. Poor old bus... heh

I live in ABQ. Nice place, as long as you don't get mugged. Just stay off Central at night and you'll be good

Good for you! I made the road trip from DC to Seattle in my car, coolest thing i have ever done. Every guy needs to do a big road trip.

They got running, and ended up with like $300 in donations from The Samba forum members.

They did get home, I confirmed that with someone from their church, but that's all we've heard. They never checked in and the phone numbers I have for them and the guy from their church are all dead now.
