Right now it looks like crap (worse than my old 4:3 non-hd). I believe parts of it is due to using s-video connection so I'll switch to component as soon as I can get my hands on a cable.
Meanwhile, Madden 05 had 4:3 and 16:9 modes, can't find anything like that on Madden 06. The closest I could find was wide-screen camera mode but that didn't look too good.
Lastly, the gameplay seems pretty laggy, almost like hardware can't handle the higher resolution (what higer resolution, it looks worse than non-hd).
