Whosoever dons the cover of Madden NFL for that year is cursed to have injuries, or bad play.

EDIT:

2001-Eddie George: Went from 3.7 ypc in 2000 to 3.0 ypc in 2001.
2002-Daunte Culpepper:
- 2001: 64.2% completion rate, 13 INTs
- 2002: 60.7% completion rate, 23 INTs
- 2003: 65.0% completion rate, 11 INTs
2003-Marshall Faulk: Faulk was 1st player in NFL history to get 2000 total yds from scrimmage for 4 seasons in a row in the 2002 season. In 2003, knee injuies limited him to 10 starts and under 1500 yds from scrimmage.
2004-Michael Vick: Ankle injury, out for year.
2005-Ray Lewis: He couldn't care less about a fvcking curse. He was just fine.
2006-McNabb: TBD, but already hurt

The Eagles don't have to worry about anything if McNabb goes down. They have Ty Detmer as their backup! He'll tear up secondaries left and....no wait. He'll use a precision passing game to....no uhhhhh. He'll throw a bunch of INTs and get the crap sacked out of him.

Ahhh that's right. I instinctively wrote Ty by mistake.

Incidentally, my HS football team played Koy's HS team in the Texas playoffs way back when. I got injured on the first offensive series and spent the rest of the game watching Koy rip our secondary apart.

I think Mcmahon is a good solid QB though... whereas I don't think Koy is.

Um.... LT is NOT sucking this year, they're just not giving him the rock enough. He's averaging 5.4 ypc.

EDIT: Also, they will not go with QBs two years in a row. I also project LT unless a defender plays extremely well. The most important determining factor isn't what the player did the year before, but what aspect of the game they're focusing on and who exemplifies that the most/who's most popular.
