It's been reported that McNabb is out 4-8 weeks. And even if that's not true, he's still having a pretty bad season.
 
yes and they blew that game last night, stick a fork in the eagles, they're DONE.

I don't know if this is what you were talking about, but I remember something like this during the Dallas vs Washington game earlier this year.

Dallas with a 13-0 lead late in the forth quarter, and Madden said that Bill Parcel has never lost a game when leading by more than 13 points going into the 4th quarter and we all knew what happened.

Last night when the cowboys were down by 13, Madden said the something similar about the Eagles

I think he is talking about the fact that players on the cover of the Madden football game seemed to be cursed for that year.
 
No, Madden curse is that whatever athlete appears on the cover of NFL Madden game either gets hurt or has a very bad season. Happened the last 5-6 years as far as I remember.
