Picking it up this year since Best Buy was having a slick deal on trade-ins (giving you $22 credit + $10 coupon for Madden 16 if you trade in Madden 15 with GCU, and selling Madden 16 for $48 with $10 Reward Certificate). If you live in a city where Uber is giving away free copies of Madden 15, you might be able to trade it in for Madden 16 dirt cheap.
I'm actually pretty excited for this year's offering. Hoping they go the extra mile with this year's entry since Madden 15 is offered for dirt cheap via EA Access.

LOL ... you must be new to the franchise
yet, for some reason I end up buying it every damned year. Fun game to play with my son I guess.

make sure you take jordy nelson off your team.
I hope Madden die and EA lose it NFL license and 2K take over like it used to before EA got scare and well you know the story. Your Avi is what should be pointed at Madden.
Not as good as the James Franco's brother and Kevin Heart commercial.
From what I've heard and seen (the developers streamed some gameplay a few days ago), it looked decent. I might pick it up if enough friends do.
So, to clarify:
You hate Madden because EA's exclusivity deal has made the Madden franchise stagnate. So, your solution is that you want Madden to go away and for NFL 2K to return. You want EA out of the picture, but you want 2K, who has filled its NBA 2K franchise with microtransactions and couldn't run a decent baseball franchise to save its life, to be the sole option for football?
Or do you want Madden to die, NFL 2K to return, and another third-party offering to magically appear?
Well, Dave Franco's the lead in the new video as well, but I agree. I liked the one last year more.
The only reason EA has exclusive right to NFL is because NFL 2k5 is the best football game ever made
The problem is none of that is true. The NFL wanted an exclusive license and EA simply was able to bid the most. And, even then, Madden continued to outsell NFL 2k by millions of units. Even NFL 2k5 didn't outsell Madden, despite being superior game and $40 cheaper.
NFL Blitz was literally designed to take your quarters from you in the arcade. 30 yards for a first down? Pay EVERY quarter? More competition might be nice, except is there even a market or studio anymore for it?
Did so more research, and it does look like Ultimate Team has drafts, and you can regularly get good players. The gameplay looks good and IG UI looks fresh, while being familiar. I might pick this one up, but with FIFA 16 coming out soon, I don't know how much time I'll have for it.
