Madden 2005 will not start up

I just picked up my copy of Madden 2005 and it will not start up, saying that it's detecting CD/DVD emulation. I tried disabling Daemon Tools, then I tried uninstalling Daemin Tools, and I still get the message. I'm about to try erasing the install .exe and see if that helps. I thought I'd start a thread because I figure a LOT of people are about to see this problem. If anyone has a workaround already, post that bad boy. Otherwise, I'm going to keep trying.

also, disable any virtual drives as well. I had this issue with Far Cry initially, and even after disabling all virtual drives, I had to uninstall clone cd for it to run.

Is clone cd installed? Did you go to my computer, and disable/uninstall all virtual drives?

Oh! I didn't know that CloneCD would be a problem too. I'll try uninstalling that too. Thanks!

Oh, you outta get it. With a Radeon 9800 it looks TERRIFIC!! The AI is INSANE this time around. I haven't won a game yet with the difficulty on all-madden. It's going to be a VERY bad year for my fantasy franchise. I went 0-4 in my preseason and I'm 0-2 on the season. Buffalo is going to execute the head coach.

I agree, bu unfortunately this Daemon/CloneCD/Alcohol 120% blacklisting appears to be getting worse.
