I'm into my 4th season, and I've noticed a trend in this game, and its really annoying. The computer can "will" one team to win over another. Granted this is nothing new in arcade-style games, but not in a simulation. First situation...there is always a team or 2 in Madden that is always good. It used to be the Cowboys, in this game, its the Bucs and the Eagles. In my 4th season, the Bucs are awful, yet whenever I play them, they become amazing. Also, the game likes to "punish" you...if you do something stupid, like going for it on 4th down, and you lose, suddenly the computer's offense becomes unstoppable for the next drive. So aggrivating.

It's their way of implementing momentum. Think about in real life when a team is stopped on 4th down the other teams offense usually comes out amped up. It's not perfect in the game (Madden usually has a few quirks) but it's improved from the past few years.
