Madden 2002 and created teams ...

Anyone know if it's possible to use a created team for a Franchise game mode.. Doesn't seem like you can use any teams other than the normal NFL teams for a franchise.. is there a way to do it though ?

Yes you can, but you have to complete a season with the created team(so they have a record for other teams to look at), after you do that, and finish the Pro Bowl, the game will ask you if you want to create a franchise with your team. It's hard though, if your players are good you'll almost never re-hire them all due to the expense. Cap limits simply wont allow it.
