madden 11 - doritos 3d mode

Did anybody ever try this? I don't remember seeing a thread about it, though I haven't searched on it.

The reason for the thread is this: I got madden for Christmas, and I saw the thing in the game about the Doritos 3D mode. Sounded like a Gimmick sure, but something fun to try. So I went online and got a code and enabled it... but I didn't have any 3d glasses. So I ordered some on ebay for real cheap. 2 days later, my xbox RROD's on me. So, I sent the xbox in and just got it back today. After the repair, that mode is no longer unlocked in my game. So, I put in the code again but of course it says that code is already in use. So I got online again to get a new code and now the site says that the promotion has ended. WTF..

So.... does anybody know how I can make the new xbox recognize my old code, or happen to have an unused code for an xbox360?

It's not the end of the world if I can never try it but it sounded fun... and now i have these 3d glasses that i have no use for.

First, you must have a 3D TV to use such a thing as far as I know. Unless it uses just a red/blue type 3D effect which I doubt. You can't just magically enable 3D on any TV.

Second, you should just have to run this license transfer (hopefully):

no you don't need a 3d tv.... it just gives you a red/blue encoded image it's not 3d tv 3d... (don't know how to phrase that).

You didn't need a 3d tv to use it, you just needed the red and blue lense 3d glasses.

If it's just red/blue 3d you're not missing much, red/blue 3d sucks. If you still want to make use of those glasses there are red/blue 3d drivers available for just about any modern 3d card on your pc that will turn any 3d game into red/blue 3d capable.

There are also plenty of red/blue 3d vids on you tube.
