So I'm thinking I want to get a Madden game. Should I pay like $10 for 09 or is it worth the extra $50 for 10?
 
If you want to play online or with friends (or if you want the latest/greatest rosters) - you'll need 10.

Otherwise, $10 for 09 is not a bad deal.

10 is better than 09, though. You can get 10 for ~$50 or cheaper if you scour deal forums. I'd go that route, personally.
