Figured I'd post this up, the latest project on the car. Couple weeks back when I was slaving over the car with claybar, I noticed 3 spots of stone chip damage that weren't fixed and started bubbling a bit. After cleaning it out, sealing it I ended up with 3-4mm stone chips on fairly prominent spots of the car. Solution? Matte wrap of course!
One of the chips was on the rear QP flare, so I had porsche-style stone chip guard cut and put on both sides. The other was on the rear qp sort of halfway between the tail light and fuel door, so I had the guy cut me a LTW flag and plop it over the sealed paint damage. Results came out pretty great:
