It's really just the first 2 episodes back-to-back, but after seventeen months of waiting a two-hour dose of Mad Men is going to be nice. The show doesn't get much discussion around here, I'm guessing because it's not about zombies or being stranded on an island or families fighting for a throne, but it's hard to argue a show that's 4-out-of-4 with Best Drama Emmys isn't up there as the best TV has to offer.
Season 4 was so good that it's tough to imagine the show getting much better, but IMO each season has surpassed the previous one and with such a long break to get this one done I expect some quality writing to rival last season. As far as expectations goes, typical Matt Wiener has not given us anything to go on by way of ads and media other then skirts being shorter and to expect new characters, but I personally think Cooper will stay gone, Harry will become a partner, and Pete Campbell will be instrumental going forward. I'm also hoping the death of Lucky Strike means Sal will be back as well. And will Don be able to keep it in his pants now that he's married again? Hmmm, doubtful.
