Is there an appreciable difference between having an Economics, Finance, or Accounting degree? My school offers all three and I'm just wondering that when it's time to find a job is anyone will care if I have one other another.
Also, can you guys tell me if this sounds right? It's been awhile since I've been in school and I want to make sure I'm not going to make my teacher think I'm a jackass...

I feel that the eight stated economic goals serve well to give a sense of generalization to the different directions that an economy can travel. Some may criticize the oversimplification of these goals, but a certain degree of homogenization must occur in order to keep the list brief and concise. I consider economic growth and employment to hold the highest importance. The morale of the people can affect many things and if most everyone who is seeking employment has a job, and the higher standard of living resulting from steady economic growth is present, then there should be good feelings all around. Economic efficiency and price-level stability serve the business community well in that with a certain degree of consistency, companies can get an idea of what to expect and plan their business futures accordingly. I don?t necessarily agree with equitable distribution of income because I feel that it hints towards socialism. Competition is one of the factors that made our country what it is and if you start to move towards everyone being on a level playing field financially, then you may take away some of the motivation from those who would otherwise push the envelope and drive continued economic growth..
