Anyone know anything about these drives?
Sale at compusa, 19.99, wondering if they are any good.
Want to get rid of my scsi dvd-rom and replace it with an ide one

Give it a shot, it's most likely a rebadged drive from someone else.

The product itself is very good, but the software and drivers that Mad Dog Multimedia provides cripples the product. I bought a Mad Dog Multimedia Prowler 64TV video card. It uses the SiS315 chipset. It performed very poorly and ran at 2x AGP instead of the 4x AGP advertized. Xabre another company that sells the exact same card provided much better drivers. Unforunatly it didn't solve the 2x AGP problem.
