If you recall my earlier thread about when the MBP is going to be updated, and considering MacWorld isnt until early-February... is it safe to assume the MBP wont be updated until then or is it possible they will be updated this month?

Apple will not be at MacWorld so I don't think they will feel compelled to use the show date for any announcements.

The Jan 25th/26th/whatever date is supposedly focused on "mobility". Everyone thinks it is tablet related, but I wouldn't be surprised if they let out some tablet features (i.e. this is what we're going to have in June or something) and then refreshed the MBPs. At least that's what I'm hoping. I can't imagine they'd wait until Feb, and they have no particular reason to have it be in any way related to Macworld.)

Yeah I would nix MacWorld in general, as they've stated last year they would no longer be at those events.
