Macspeech LCD burn in, on my second monitor... any1 else

LCD's don't really suffer Burn In per say, but they do get a bit of Image Persistence. As someone suggested in that thread, the software itself really doesn't cause it, its a physical symptom in the hardware itself from something being up there too long.

I had an old Dell 20" LCD on my Mac Mini and there was a bit of Image Persistence from the Mac Toolbar up top. Some monitors show it more than others.

the OS X menu bar is ghosted on my iMac. on an unrelated note, I really wish there was an off button for the monitor. the 1 minutes power saving isn't the same, as if i accidentally touch the mouse, it flicks on.

LCDs definitely do have burn in. There is an XP toolbar burned in on one of my 2005FPWs that hasn't had XP on it since 2006.
