Macs need to be Black

I bought an Ipod Nano finally, because it wasn't white.

I will also be convinced to try out OSX and buy an iBook if it wasn't white.

Does anyone else share this opinion? The White is far too tacky, does not fit the rest of my gadgets coloring scheme, and too feminine as an electronic device. The option is fine, but having ONLY white iBooks and iMacs is turning away this potential customer (whos ONLY real objection is the color).

No, but only with apple products. Apple pwns at white.

And if something is good, color will not change my opinion, but imo only apple products look good in white

I can't find a case but you can get some Glossy Spray Paint.

OP, i just realized that i would actually be tempted to buy a black ibook...maybe white is what's turning me off and not the single click button mouse..

OP, i just realized that i would actually be tempted to buy a black ibook...maybe white is what's turning me off and not the single click button mouse..

jus buy an ibook...........take it apart....get the chassis sprayed, and use proper automotive stuff and a clear coat/laquer or something. im sure a local resprayer could do it

there are probably aftermarket places that do that. there are custom sites that paint redo ipods in many colors and such

I'd have to agree.

The white Apple uses is most certainly feminine, or at best, metro...i just don't like it.

I'd love to see a jet black iBook 😀

UV reative = gaudy, not good.
Multicolored LEDs also = gaudy.
Case window = i don't care...since run my PCs w/o sides 😛
