Macs Compatible In China?

Hey everyone. My friend is moving to China (Beijing) for six months and he heard somewhere that his Powerbook wouildn't work over there, something about not being compatible with the internet in China? That sounded crazy so I wanted to run that by AT.

Thanks

Yup. In China, Macs own you. Therefore you can't use Macs....have to go with counterfeit systems.
The Chinese government also censors the internet apparently.

Anyways, if the place he's staying has Ethernet or wireless connections or even just a phoneline, he can get internet. It's also 110V AC in China so if you live in the States then Macs should just work.

His MacBook was Made in China, like everything else in the United States, so I think it'll run fine.
