Ok so I may be behind on my computer knowledge, but when did Macs support windows? I was shocked when I heard this on an ad today...ok that was my story...oh wait one more part to this as a question to pc users...would you use a Mac if it was running windows and get rid of your regular desktop or laptop

Dude, Macs are for doing FUN THINGS on your computer, and are made for young hipster college kids. PC's are only for going nowhere middle management losers who make spreadsheets all day, don't watch movies or listen to music.

Get it right.

Yes, if I could afford a Mac. But it wouldn't be a replacement for me. I'd get a Macbook/Macbook Pro, which would be a supplement to my desktop PC.

Yes, that is one definition of that acronym, the wrong definition for this discussion, but it is a definition.

I know! You can't even play games on a PC!

Nor is there any good video editing software, music playback software or the like!

Those commercials piss me off.

Let's not forget to mention that Mac's are impervious to viruses due to their ELITE design, and NEVER CRASH. EVER.

What would be the correct definition for this discussion then? Politically Correct? We're obviously talking about personal computers in this thread.

lol, i actually used to think macs didn't crash, or at least very rarely. My friends mac crashes all the time. but that's because he is trying to make a full length movie on a g4.

Yes. My MacBookPro replaces both a Lenovo ThinkCentre P4 desktop from work and a year old POS Dell Inspiron 9200 Windows laptop. I stay in OSX for everything except playing Oblivion, COD, and F.E.A.R. If they came in OSX form, I'd probably never boot back into Windows.

You don't have to reboot them, either. Not even after a power outage.

Yes but he obviously meant PC as a Windows machine not just general personal computer

Yes but when you buy a PC you have to read manuals. When you buy a mac you are automatically infused with the knowledge on how to use.
