macrovision, vcr, turning off

i want my training videos i bought to be on the network and not on VHS
i have intervideo, is there a way to turn off macrovision so i can do this?

I have a device that you pass the signal through that removes macrovision but I'm not sure if a program can do it after it's been ripped to the HDD.

where would i get said device

it wont even let me capture it, it will display it when watching it, but just says it cant capture due to macrovision

ok i really think there should be some software that can do it, i am using winDVR from intervideo, it sees that there is macro vision and stops me, if i can over ride that, im sure i could record it
