Macron PSUs any good?

I have a 300W Sparkle PSU right now which I think is giving me stability problems on my Athlon system. I was considering getting an Enermax but I have read some negative comments about even the 550W model still not being any good for higher clocked Athlons. I can get the Macron 400W and 500W model locally for quite a cheap price compared to the Enermax (which I would also have to order on line).

Any comments on Macron? Good and bad?

I have been gone for a couple weeks, but whoever told you a 500W Enermax might not be enough for a higher clocked Athlon is almost defidently full of snot. Enermax makes some of the best power supplies out there.

He says a 300W worked too... quality is the key. Not wattage. Don't bother with the Macron if a good quality 350W is cheaper. No comment on if you want a 400W.
