Every world leader has got to start doing this. Trump has an unscheduled presser talking total credit for all these changes in what NATO nations are going pay. Peppered in was a repeat of "I am the greatest" and me...me...me. Also showed a complete lack of knowledge of world affairs.

President Macron of France clarified Trump's bullshit shortly after.

Macron said the nations only agreed to uphold their commitment to do that by a 2024 deadline, which has been in place since 2014.

Basically other then trashing our Allies Trump had another photo-op where he did nothing.

Trump went in and blustered, was called on his bluff and backed down like a little bitch, called an emergency press conference (his first press conference ever, right?) to brag about himself and claim credit for everything that Obama did, and was called out on his lies...yet again.

His dingleberry army will still believe him, however. They will believe that he did all these things.

LoL: He actually claimed this morning that DPRNK is "removing all of their propaganda." HAHAHAHHAHAA. What kind of idiot tries to claim something like that?

They have been reluctant to do so, and when they do it's soft.

Unfortunately this is only seen as weakness by Trump and only encourages him to go further next time.

They can't reason with him, confrontation is the only thing he knows.

Also unfortunately, it will make the situation worse in the short term, but may be what is needed to save the alliance long term.

Just biting tongues and waiting him out is a dangerous game.

Outlets, especially cable news, need to do a better job of contextualizing their Trump headlines like: Trump says something that's probably/absolutely bullshit, here is that bullshit and why it is bullshit.

Individual reporters generally do a much better job.

Meanwhile, on today's Liar in Chief segment.... Trump spewed this....

Yeah, every station, every paper, and every website needs a section covering our Liar in Chief. In those words.

If it wasn't for NATO the US would have no military presence in Europe instead of the multitude of bases you have there.

Yes, I thought the reason that NATO sucks was obvious, but thanks for posting it in case someone doesn't realize.
