Macromedia Flash Player

I am trying to find where Adobe Macromedia Flash Player 9 keeps the website storage files on the local machine. (Windows XP)

I have built and saved a file from the link below:
http://www.dell.com/html/us/products/rack_advisor_test/index.html

I would like to port the saved file to another machine so I do not have to rebuild the entire thing by hand. Is this possible? I have looked at the Settings Manager, but all I can find on it is the ability to set a size limit for a website. I could find no mention of where the files are actually stored. For example on my machine www.dell.com is using 2.8 Mb of storage, but I can't seem to find the files. I even tested clearing the cache and temporary internet files, but clearing those did not delete the information so it must be on there somewhere.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

its using a flash sharedobject which isnt exactly portable but you can search for the *.sol extension and try to find it

The default storage location for LSOs is operating-system dependent. For Windows XP, the location is within each user's Application Data directory, under Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects

Found the file in the location you mentioned. Just porting the .sol file didn't work, but moving the entire www.dell.com folder worked. Thank you for the help. 🙂
