Macromedia Flash Player

Hi everybody!
I can't seem to download this flash player. I was wondering if anyone knew what had to be switched on or activated before this download will work. Does it have anything to do with "Active X controls". I'm running Win. XP home. I really appreciate any info. that may be forthcoming. Thank you very much!

Nope, the player is free. Visit their website and you can test your install, or download it if you don't have it. www.macromedia.com

I've repeatedly tried to download it but nothing happens. The only thing I can think of is something somewhere in my O.S. I have something checked that won't allow the download. The website says it only takes a couple minutes to download with a dial-up connection. I have a DSL conn. and have left it downloading for several minutes with no success. Does anybody have any ideas? Thank You!

I figured out the problem by looking around in their support section. I have a pop-up blocker installed and evidently this was stopping the download. There was a different dowload in the support section that solved this. Thanks for your time.
