MacIntosh reading Windows created ISO file?

I am a WIndows guy but can "get around" a Mac to do basic support.
I need to download MS Office for Mac and install for a customer who has a new Macbook.
I don't have the Mac in my office so can I download the MS product, create an ISO file to DVD on my WIndows 10 computer and have the Mac read/install from that DVD ISO image?
I have had some people tell me about Bootcamp but that is not an option for me.

Thank you

ISO is a standard format, so that won't be a problem. Make sure you're putting the Mac OS version of Office on the ISO though.

Depending on the version of Office, i'm surprised there isn't a stand-alone installer on Microsoft's site that you could point the user to.
