Machine not seen in network

Muse

Lifer
I have my LAN set up recently, but one of the machines isn't there when I look in my Workgroup. There are 3 machines:

2 XP Pro
1 Vista HP

One of the XP Pro machines (laptop, wireless) isn't seen. But I can and have mapped to one of its folder trees from the other two machines. Why wouldn't this machine be seen as an active machine in the network?

Do all 3 machines have the same network name? The network must be "Private" to be able to show all machines.

Yeah, I believe that the Network Workgroup is just "Workgroup" on all 3 machines. Um, what do you mean "Private?" Where would that be designated?
