Seriously though, I would consider A64 and Linux. Running Oracle on Windows is a pain as it basiclly has to install its own pseudo-Linux environment anyway. If you plan on running multiple Oracle components on the same box (db server, portal server, forms server, enterprise manager, etc) seriously consider dual Opterons. And get LOTS of ram. Oracle is fast, but it gobbles up ram in the process.
