Machine added to domain ask to log in after being idle

Whenever I add a computer to the domain, and the system sits idle for 15 minutes, it requests the LAN username and password to log back in. The computers are in the admin group. I've turned off system standby in the Power options in the Display Properties.

None of the computers can change the "time" for the screensaver. It is greyed out. I can change the screen saver type. I tried putting this to "none" but even after all this, the computer requests the user their credentials after staying idle.

I looked in group policy on the DC but I did not see anything. Where am I not looking?!

I don't have an AD domain to fidget with here, but you can start by looking at Active Directory Users & Computers and look at the Group Policy Objects applying to them, in User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Display.

Bigger picture: is it actually logging them off, or just locking the screen? Locking the screen is often desirable to reduce the chances of snooping on an unattended system. I don't leave the keys in the door of my car, no matter how inconvenient it is to go searching for them in the laundry pile... 😉

Yes, it's just locking them out. And I do want to keep this settings, but i want to change the time from 15 minutes to an hour.

Thanks for the help.
