Gotta love MacHeist

The serial for Hordes of Orcs doesn't work. Too bad - it's a pretty good mindless game.

Edit: never mind, must have been a server issue. Key's working fine now.

WriteRoom is not bad, but it's really only good if you're not writing a research paper where you have to constantly switch to the internet or PDF's for electronic resources.

Twitterific...I only tweet on my iPhone or via the web interface, so I don't think it'll be all that useful for me.

Hordes of Orcs is pretty fun. A cheat code for 10,000 gold is xyzzx. Try it out.

I snagged this the other night. Good stuff.

WriteRoom is a pretty neat program. It's come in handy recently when I've sat down to write some blog posts.

There's also an extra program at the bottom that is activated via Facebook. It's called VirusBarrier X5. Any opinions on that program? I don't want to join Facebook if I don't need to. 😉

I guess its good to have, but I don't think its needed by any means

I feel like a lot of these programs just get rehashed through all the giveaways. I've received all of these apps through other promotions (MacHeist, MacPromo, etc...). I did like that I got Hordes of Orcs, but that's about it.

The common sense with computer hygiene is to have the least programs installed on top of the OS. This way, your experiences with computing will always be pleasant.

To address your question, Linux and OS X systems don't encounter virus, malware, and such as often as Windows machines. Spent time elsewhere.
