also, when one jedi kills another jedi, does he get the other jedi's powers like in highlander?

I ask because anakin keeps saying how much more powerful he's become after he killed all the other jedi, I was wondering how he got so powerful? the emporer couldn't have taught him so much in so little time...

I think he got so powerful because he gave in to his anger...

But he didn't really.

He beat Count Dooku at the start of the film, yet Obi Wan got beat(though Dooku was trying to convert Anakin to the dark side), yet Obi Wan beats him later, sort of anyhow.

BTW, it looked like Yoda had the emperor to me, I think he just wimped out. What happened to all the force powers these guys are supposed to have? Episode 3 seemed to show off the force way less than episode 2 or the clone wars cartoons.

Obi Wan beat Anakin at the end becuase Anakin was in the inferior saber fighting position, OW told him that before he attacked. Doesn't mean OW is more powerful than Anakin, its just Anakin is an idiot and he advanced in an attack that he could not win becuase of position, not power.

ok so can there be more than 2 Sith people in existence at one time? or can a master only take on one apprentice? what's the deal with that?

I remember an explanation for the whole "only two sith" thing from a while ago.
It was something like all the sith are power hungry, so when more than 2 existed there was a massive war and they all fought for control. Eventually it was decided the only way the Sith could survive and become strong is to keep their numbers small.

Thank you.

At least someone was paying attention to the movie.

Rules. The Sith "rules" say that there can only be one master and one apprentice.

That one was pretty obvious. I can't believe Anakin was so blinded by power that he couldn't even see what a tool he was. I mean, he had zero common sense. Noooo!

So what if Mace was better/stronger/superior than Yoda? It doesn't affect the Star Wars story in any way, other than the fact that *maybe* Luke Skywalker would have become stronger in Dagobah (that point made moot by the fact that Yoda is the only one that survived, anyhow), does it?

BS!! Yoda is just a little green muppet wimp. Yoda couldn't kill Dooku in #2, but Anakin easily killed him in #3. Since Obi-Wan then defeated Anakin we have:

Obi-wan > Anakin > Dooku

Since Yoda was only equal to Dooku apparently EVERYONE on the Jedi council could kick Yoda's ass. And don't forget that Mace Windu was beating up Palpatine BEFORE Anakin got there. So it was legit, not an act and therefore Windu had to have been stronger than Yoda too.

Remember that there were four Jedi vs. the emperor before it was one on one...
