Macbook random shutdowns

Got a 13.3" macbook recently, and a few weeks ago it started to shut down randomly, on battery power or plugged in... usually while streaming videos from the net, but sometimes for no reason at all.

I tried reseting the VRAm & PMU but problem persisted. As I read online, it's probably a 'logic board' problem.

However, a few minutes ago it got so bad that the Macbook wouldn't even turn on. So I took the battery out entirely, and just ran it plugged in. This resulted in 2 things:

1) So far hasn't shut off once, and I tried a dozen web streams, which usually does the job to shut it off.
2) The CPU clock isn't going above 1.0ghz. I have a monitoring tool that shows the speed updated every several seconds. Usually it's at 1.5ghz or faster... very rarely does it go below that. But now it's not going above 1.0ghz, not even when I throw several divx streams at it at once. Text

Any insight in what's going on with the my Macbook would be greatly appreciated.

Apple's got fantastic free tech support - the best in the biz - and you likely have a hardware problem. Think it's best just to call Apple so they can give you a new one or get yours fixed?
