I have 2 of these SSDs (Samsung Model #: MZ-JPU512T/0A6) from a Macbook Pro, Don't know if these have same form factor as all other PCIe SSDs, i was trying to find an adapter so that i can use these 2 on PCIe 2.0 X4 on Intel DH61AG motherboard running windows server 2012 R2. I found this on Amazon (ASIN: B00O27NBS0, Item model number: ST-A2013SA-B, Sintech 28Pin to PCI-e Adapter for 2013 Macbook Pro Air A1465 A1466 A1502 A1398 SSD), I contacted manufacturer they did confirm that this adapter should work in this situation.
Would appreciate if some one can answer questions below.
1) Please confirm whether above SSD has standard PCIe form factor or Apple proprietary form factor ?
2) Above Santech Adapter works in this situation ?
3) Does PCIe 2.0 X4 support SSD (on DH61AG, mSATA is supported) if i use this adapter ? I am not using this as a boot drive, just for storage.
4) Please recommend an adapter where i can use both SSDs instead of just 1 SSD (as in Santech adapter).
5) DH61AG has 2 SATA connectors (Both are in use) and i have an mSATA in use already, I am trying to use both these SSDs on PCIe slot that is open. I don't have any extra SATA power connectors either.
6) If i can't use them on a PCIe X4 adapter then can some one please suggest an adapter to SATA ?
Appreciate your help.
