Macbook Pro Power Adapter Question

One thing I liked about my old iBook power adapter was that I could take out the two-prong piece and attach the long power cord when I needed the extra reach. However, I noticed that they don't sell the cords on the Apple Store. Is this something that they discontinued?

No, they still ship power adapter with both a 2 prong and the long cable, I have never seen them for sale individually at Apple's website, but I never really looked. ifixit.com has them though, $15 a piece.
