MacBook Pro "MagSafe" -- burn in hell?

Must be embarressing...

BUT still a nice feature and isn't so widespread.

if you look at the comments, it appears that not all of the pics that Flickr voluntarily took down are on that blog. Apparently a cat pee'd on the connector causing the short. It's still not going to prevent me from buying a macbook in a couple months.

Thank you for posting this, otherwise every mac-basher would come out of the woodwork to give their $-.02.
But really, if my cat ever peed on my Powerbook it would be "good-bye kitty" and "hello chinese restaurant".

well, since it was cause of cat piss, and NOT a design flaw, it won't be keeping me from buying a mac and then dual booting xp and os x.

Exactly what I'm thinking. XP for the games and OS X for work and everything else. I can't believe how productive I am in Linux compared to Windows. Once I get used to OS X I imagine I'll be just as productive if not more. Plus I can go to the local coffee shop and not be embarrassed by my hulking Dell Inspiron 😉
