Hi everyone,

I own a MacBook Pro 13'' and because I dropped liquid on it, the motherboard needs to be replaced. That's why I would like to ask you for your help. Can anyone suggest which one should I get? I gave a quick look on ebay but I'm not entirely sure about the exact model I have to buy.

Thank you all

Looking up the specs for it there is 2 logic boards (apple's term for a motherboard)
661-5559, 2.40 GHz
661-5560, 2.66 GHz

You could get either one and it will work

Thanks for the fast reply. I guessed I could just find models based on this "A1278" code but this is not going to work, is it?

You could but i find it easier to search for with the pn from the service manual, i have seen occasions where people mislabel the part

Its very expensive :(

Yup, tried to rebuild a 2010 MBP 13 for a buddy who also spilled morning joe on his keyboard. AFter it's all said and done, unless you have a 'hookup' on getting Apple parts, you might as well just sell the broken laptop for parts and buy a refurbished one or a new one as you're only splitting about $100-$200 difference between rebuilding it and the above option due to prohibitive spare parts costs.
