macbook multimonitor game output

i have a macbook air and I am using the HDMI out to an LG TV

is there a way to get steam games (HL2, Portal 2) to output fullscreen to the TV?

System Prefs -> Displays -> Arrangement..

.. Drag the menu bar over to the TV's display box.

Alternatively, close the lid. That will also free up more memory for the second screen.

thank you this works, i played with that option before but did not know you can drag the bar
