Macbook Ice Lake

The Macbook (12") model coming out later this year or early '19 is rumored to have Ice Lake Intel parts.
I hope so! A low wattage quad core i7 with higher speed DDR4 (3733 MHz!) ram and current gen PCI-E storage would be a game changer. I love the format of the 12" macbook, but even in current form it feels slow and dated performing tasks that the 15" MBP rips through.

Yeah one port is definitely a PIA.
While they're at it, one of those ports should be full 40Gbps T3 capable. 😉

Yea... no.

Amberlake Y is coming Fall of this year. Icelake Y is quite far off.

I'd pick up the mid 2017 with 16GB/i7/512 for cheap in a fire sale if there was such a thing.
