So does this mean i can plug it into my 7.1 receiver via tos-link ?
 
Just make sure that you get the ones with the 1/8th" jack on the one end (standard headphone jack) otherwise you have a useless cable.
 
i found that the cable that i have hooked into my dish receiver has the adapter on it already
so all i need to do is buy a cheap cable to replace this one
