Macbook Air to run two 24" monitors

I want my MBA (late 2011 model) to run two 24" DVI monitors. I want the lid on the MBA to stay closed. Can this be done using the thunderbolt to DVI adapter and a USB to DVI adapter at the same time? I'd like to confirm before buying the setup.

Thanks!!

I have no idea what the issue was with the reviewer, but macrumers people have had good luck with it.

I was saying that thingy probably isn't necessary, if the OP has the USB-DVI adapter at least. Though, I would assume he doesn't if he is asking if it will work.

I have the thunderbolt to DVI; and the extend desktop (from MBA to monitor) works great. I'll need to get a USB to DVI to connect the second monitor. From the reviews I've read on macrumor as mentioned above, This should work pretty well to connect the second monitor. If I have to leave the lid slightly open I guess that's okay. I'll have the MBA in a desk in a ventilated drawer.
