Macbook Air 13 Protection/Case and Accessories

What are you guys using to protect your MBA's?

It will primarily be used around the house. My concern is that I have a very inqusitive five year old....

So snap on covers, slip covers, both?

Any other necessary accessories? I know about the external drive, but I am not interested for now.

For background:

I have not used Apple computers in quite a long time, but I am picking up a 13" MBA base model for use as a primary laptop. Email, internet, Office type apps, light photo or video editing (home use).

My previous laptop, a Dell XPS 1340, is going on three years old, and is getting to need several repairs.

I went MBA for size/weight, battery life, Wife Acceptance Factor, and decent power with the summer refresh, and the fact that my daughter is using OSX in the classroom since she started kindergarten this fall.

So any other suggestions for a new owner would be apreciated...
 
I have a 13 inch Macbook Air, I bought a Wrapsol skin to protect it, I'm really impressed with it, be sure when you are ready to apply the skin that you work in an area with really strong lighting, the skin is clear & I had a bit of trouble lining it up on the Air because I had trouble seeing it.

I just got my MBA, and bought this : Incipio

I like it a lot, super sleek, and makes it all stealth, haha. I also slide it in a built NY neoprene case when in my backpack.
 
Just an FYI, it does cover the apple logo up, which might be a concern for some.

Unlike the cheaper cases, you CAN charge and use the USB at the same time...issue I kept seeing, but not the case with this one.
 
When I take mine out of the house I slip it into a nice felt lined neoprene zippered sleeve. Cost me like $20 online. It is actually designed for 10" netbooks, but it stretches around the Air nicely (I have the 11" Air).
