seems some of the imacs are getting a yellow tint to the screens and the odd fail to boot. I did some cursory searching, and the anecdotal impression is pretty damning. there is even a site tracking manufacture dates and model and collecting the statistics.

What do you think is the cause of this?
the theories run from blaming the IPS panel to the LED backlight. Given the AIO nature of imacs, is this a heat build up leading to shorter led lifespan situation? Or is LG's ips tech that problematic? Any thoughts from some of our more panel savy members?
