What are the advantages and disadvantages of a PowerMac G5 vs. a Windows PC?

You probably should not worry about it. You've got yourself a nice setup already. Stick with what you are used to using.

That's about it. Well about half.

windows pc is cheaper and slightly faster. But also quite a bit more crappy.

It's like the difference between a chevette with a V6 dropped into it versus a slightly beat up Acura.

Both have their issues, and the used Acura can be expected to have less issues then a homemade v6 chevette, but that's not neccisarially true. Oh, and the chevette is much faster.

Although the Dual G5's are some realy cool stuff.

I bought when apple was at the G3 466Mhz.

I went back to windows 1 1/2 years later.

Things are much more $$$$$ in a mac world......

I couldnt agree more. If I was a PC person, I would definetly keep that setup. That is a sweet setup.
