I have an ati AIW rage 3d 8mb pci, and i was wondering if it would work with a mac, or do I need a "mac" version. and if so why won't the one i have work. if it will work what kind of drivers do i need for it to work in os8.1?

help me out I am a MAC newb
 
You'll need a "Mac version" with a Mac bios (there's ways to flash PC cards to MAC bioses, but the MAC bios has to exist) - and you'll also need drivers, probably.
