This is what I use.

AppleJack - Best system maintenance tool ever for Apple computers. keeps your hard drive clean and fix system and cache files.

The Unarchiver - Unwraps zip / rar files real good. Great freebee app.

MPlayerX - All Mac video players are ghey, but at least MPlayerX is less ghey. Compatibility is great. It has video and audio equalizer for full adjustments including sharpness. Videp playback is very touchy, meaning not very smooth. But it's better than other freebee apps out there.

- AppCleaner - Very good app uninstall free program. Approved by cheez.

- uTorrent - I only use it cause it's what I'm used to.

- FireFox

There are many more I use on a daily basis if you want me to share some more :)

Parallels - Run Windows, nuff said. Now that I have 16GB, I keep it open all the time.
calibre - ebook converter for Kindle

MS Office - The standard, and not so bad, really.
A Better Finder Rename - helps to batch rename files in an intelligent manner.
DiskWarrior - Good for keeping around for when your HD gets effed up

Parallels - Run Windows, nuff said. Now that I have 16GB, I keep it open all the time.

Parallels has always worked fine for me with Windows VM but it just blew away, for a second time, an OS X Lion VM.

First time I tried to roll back to a Lion snapshot. Parallels hung while doing this, afterwards I could no longer access the VM machine. Had to recreate the VM.

Second time I selected "Shut Down" in the Lion VM which seemed to start okay but Parallels got stuck and endlessly beach balled. After waiting for it to finish whatever it thought it was doing I finally had to "Force Quit". Now, when launching Parallels, I am greeted with a screen that says "Mac OS X Stopping..." and it won't do anything else. Looks like another reinstall is in my future.

Since my Mac Pro seems stable and without problems, I have come to the conclusion that with Lions VMs, Parallels is a mess. I will probably go back to Fusion.

The Trillian is awesome. It's really a cool app that helps me keep in touch with people much more convenient and easier.

The Dropbox is a really nice app. It would be amazing if there is more space. Or ask too much? :)
