What do you mean a file converter? What type of files? Or are you just trying to share files between a Mac and PC?

File CONVERTERS have very specific uses... generally, Macs and PCs can use the same data files with few exceptions. If you can tell us about your particular need for a file converter, we may be able to find a workaround for you.

Someone called me and had a cd with a bunch of templates for business cards on it. They said it was a Mac disk.

Dunno the file format but if it's like Adobe stuff maybe it's cross platform. I'll inquire further.

More than likely it's cross platform. I exchange Photoshop files with my Mac friend all the time.

You'll be able to open the files with no problem as long as you have an appropriate program. eg, quark for PC can open quark for mac documents and vice versa. Same with pagemaker, freehand, indesign, office, and everything else I can't think of.

The problem is you won't be able to mount a mac volume. They'll need to burn a CD in iso format, so you can mount it.
Font's will also be an issue. If you don't have PC versions of all the fonts they used you'll have some major headaches.
