Mac sharing internet with PC??

I have a PC connecting to the internet via cable modem right now. Is it possible to put a Mac on this same connection using a router like the SMC Barricade? Anything special that I need to do? Anyone has this kind of setup? Thank a bunch for your help.😕
 
yes it is possible. i have both my PC and Mac sharring cable. i am using NetGear RT314. everythign working great. not sure about the Barricade. well i just looked it up and it should work fine. SMC's website
