mac ram and PC ram

Is there a difference between (newer) mac ram and pc ram? I don't know much about macs...we ordered lots of ram from crucial and now ram sticks came, but I don't know if it's PC ram or not.

PC100 SDRAM is PC100 SDRAM and will work in any computer that claims to support PC100 SDRAM 🙂
