Hi,
Just a quick question before I drop a ton of money on some new Macs. If I get a Mac Pro with 2 hard drives, do I need to get the apple raid card to set up a raid1 array? Or is there on onboard controller or a way to do it through the OS?

hardware raid, i believe it's faster? i think there was a discussion about this recently on the mac rumors forums, might want to search there.
